An important question to ask during these times is why is the government not promoting things that will improve the immune system? If we focused on the individual immune strength of each and every person, viruses and diseases like this one would not have the same effect that they do now. What do I suggest they promote? Eating organic food is important because non-organic foods are riddled with pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides. Not only are these chemicals toxic for your body, but the non-organic food has also been shown in studies to have fewer nutrients in it. We need these nutrients for our bodies to function normally, and it's especially important when we are full of toxins and fighting off diseases or viruses.
Getting plenty of fresh air and sunshine is important not only for the stress relief it provides but also sunshine provides vital nutrients that our bodies need at all times especially when fighting off a virus. Drinking half of your body weight in ounces of clean filtered water (avoid most bottled water) is important because the body functions require water without them our organs cant operate properly and toxins build up more quickly. Avoid toxic household chemicals and personal products, we are bombarded with tons of chemicals every day and its important we reduce our toxic load as much as possible. When we are overloaded with toxins our body becomes more acidic, and diseases and viruses thrive in acidic environments. Get 8-10 hours of sleep a night, and try to match your sleep cycle with the sunrise and sunset. This is important because our bodies need the proper rest to heal and to function at full capacity, if our bodies cant heal and function correctly our bodies can not fight off diseases and viruses. Get at least thirty minutes of exercise every day, walks would qualify as exercise. This is important to do because our bodies are meant to be moving, and not sitting around all day, the movement helps the blood flow and can also stimulate our metabolism and digestion.
If we live healthy lifestyles there is no need to fear any virus or disease because our bodies are extremely strong and are built to defend ourselves with our immune systems.
